My culinary origins

Bea La Cook is actually Bea, a passionate and curious French woman motivated by the desire to bring people together and share through innovative, tasty, and environmentally friendly plant-based cuisine. Coming from a family where the pleasure of good food and conviviality are fundamental values, I have been immersed in the world of gastronomy from a very young age. My parents, lovers of cooking, family gatherings, and moments shared around the table, have forged my love for good food. With a grandfather who was a baker, a brother working in the restaurant and wine industry, and a maternal grandmother steeped in Spanish culture, my culinary heritage is rich and varied.

From food science to cooking

After obtaining my degree in food & health engineering, I felt a deep need to deepen my culinary knowledge to bring together all the skills related to food. I then decided to pursue training at the Ferrandi cooking school in Paris in collaboration with the AgroParisTech agronomy school.

A life-changing journey through South America

However, my desire to explore the world was very strong, and after my studies, I decided to travel backpacking through South America for several months. This long journey was transformative and allowed me to discover different culinary cultures and become aware of the climatic and agricultural challenges in these countries.

Evolution in food and plant-based cooking

Upon returning to France, I joined a large agribusiness group committed to more sustainable and vegetarian food. My role was to create recipes for restaurants, but I quickly felt the constraints imposed by the industrial environment. Oftentimes, my creativity was limited by the need to produce on a large scale. This experience made me aware of the environmental challenges related to more responsible consumption, but I also felt the need for closer human contact and a more direct impact on the people I cooked for. Despite this, I was fortunate to meet passionate chefs who generously shared their knowledge with me, fueling my passion for creative vegetarian cooking. At the same time, I continued to train in plant-based and gluten-free cooking, which I found fascinating.

Creating bea la cook, the beginning of an adventure

In 2022, I decided to change my life and settle in the Canary Islands to create a company that reflects who I am, centered on a passion that drives me: bringing people together around healthy and sustainable cuisine. Thus, Bea La Cook was born, with the mission to share and offer my passion and love for cooking through friendly, personalized, and committed culinary. This company stands out by offering tasty, healthy, and sustainable catering and cooking workshops, with menus tailored to the specific preferences and requirements of each client.

And so continues the adventure of Bea La Cook...
